TES - 242 TECHNICS OF MEASUREMENT (3 0 0 : 3) Basic principals on measurements, control and measurement principals. Collecting experimental data and their analyses. Dimensions, angles, area measurements and measurement/control instruments; introduction of Composing rule, micrometer, etc. Introduction of Pressure, flow, temperature measurements and measurement/control instruments. TES - 222 APPLIED ELECTRIC TECHNIGUE (4 0 4 : 6) Presentation of electricity, electric current, potential, resistor, electric laws, circuit types, energy and power, electromagnetism, electrical materials, direct current, machine and its calculations in direct and alternative current, electric circuit and its laws, application of electrical wiring and electrical connections. MKE - 204 STRENGTH OF MATERİALS (3 0 0 : 3) General concepts, tensile test, Hook law, safety coefficient, fatigue, tensile, compression and shearing stresses pressing, inertia momentum, bending stress, force and momentum graphs, bending measure, buckling, combined stress, strain energy, Castigliano theorem. UPK - 202 MANAGERIAL ECONOMICS (2 0 0 : 2) Principles underlying microeconomics theory covering demand, production and market structures, capital budgeting, cost of capital, present value, rate of return, methods of evaluating alternatives, marginal and incremental costs, opportunity costs, cost accounting systems, feasibility studies for investment decisions, campaign alternatives, projected cash flow statements.
