TES - 423 PROTTOTYPE DEVELOPING AND APPLICATIONS (4  0  2 : 5)

Each student takes heating, air conditioning, cooling, sanitary, refrigerating subjects which are plumbing education area. These students research results to their class. Thus, they gain and develop presentation of seminar. The next semester, these students make prototype with their research subjects.

Using materials of ventilating and air conditioning, introduction of these materials, theirs capacity and power calculations. Necessity of refresh air calculations. Power and capacity of air conditioning systems calculations. Heat gains and loss calculations.

Introduction of refrigeration system. Refrigeration system components; (refrigerators, deep freeze, expansion value, evaporator, condenser), refrigeration rooms, heat gains calculation, Vapour-Compression refrigeration cycle.

Introduction of pumps, viscosity, loss numbers, types of flow, pressure measurement. Euler equation, pumps characteristic, power, efficiency, cavitation. Pumps systems and accumulators. Application of pumps experiment.

TES - 437 INDUSTRIAL AIR CONDITIONING AND REFRIGERATION (OPS.) (3  0  0 : 3)

Air condition and refrigerating systems are projected. Automatic control, refrigeration tower design, split and window type, hospital type air-conditioner. HVAC systems.

TES - 439 BOILER AND IGNITORS (3  0  0 : 3)

Grading of boiler and property, combustion, solid, liquid and gas combustion air, gas of combustion, analysis of combustion gas and combustion efficiency effect, combustion kinds, stacks. Feeding (charging), manual, automatic and fuel injection, combustion chambers, grinding, combustion room, temperature of combustion chamber and calculations.
